Sensitive Skin

Skin can be described as sensitive for several reasons, but an important one is that of rosacea. A condition that causes facial redness and is seen in all skin types, although it is a particular problem in those with lighter skin tones.

A condition such as rosacea may be aggravated when incorrect skin care products are used on the skin and it is important that tailored products are used in this setting. Another cause of sensitive skin is allergic reactions, which may be related to ingredients in skin care products and these can be detected by undertaking patch tests.
