Following on our theme of #innovation, we are delighted to share the official press release from the British Association of Dermatologists regarding pioneering research undertaken by Dr Ophelia E. Dadzie (our Founder & Director), and her co-researchers (Professor Nina Jablonski, Professor Rick Sturm, Dr Antoine Petit and Dr Damilola Fajuyigbe), on behalf of the British Association of Dermatologists. This group of international researchers have developed a new skin classification system (The Eumelanin Human Skin Colour Scale) for describing the full spectrum of human skin colour in an objective and more equitable manner.
The Eumelanin Human Skin Colour Scale has also been featured in Cosmetic Business and the British Medical Journal.
